About Dr. Leggett:
Dr. Leggett graduated from The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at The University of New England, followed by a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Dr. Leggett has also studied Preventive Medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
Dr. Leggett has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions including complicated co-existing medical illnesses. In addition, she provides preventive medical care including nutritional, weight loss, and smoking cessation counseling and treatment. She also addresses hormonal imbalances and treats both male andropause and female menopause using bioidentical hormone replacement.

About Leah Bishop, FNP-C:
Leah Bishop graduated from University of South Florida with a Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012. An FNP-C is a Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Family Medicine.
A Family Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse with a graduate degree in nursing that is prepared for advanced practice with individuals and families throughout the life span and across the health continuum. This practice includes independent and interdependent decision-making and direct accountability for clinical judgment.
Ms. Bishop earned her LPN in 1998, her RN degree in 2004, a BSN in 2006, and her ARNP degree from 2008 through 2012.
Ms. Bishop worked with Dr. Leggett in the hospital for years before joining Leggett Medical Group.

To prepare for your first office appointment, you can download the medical questionnaire and other forms from our website, have them faxed to you, or stop in and pick them up during office hours. This will save you time, allowing you to fill out the forms in the comfort of your home. For your convenience, we will obtain any past medical records needed following your first appointment.
HOURS: Generally, we see patients Monday through Thursday; 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hours are subject to change.
